Speaker: Pieter Kemps, Principal at Sequoia Capital
Pieter Kemps is a Principal at Sequoia Capital based in Singapore. He joined Sequoia Capital in 2014 and is leading investments across Southeast Asia in Consumer Internet, Mobile, Fintech and Software companies. He currently serves on the Board of Nugit, Funding Societies, 90 Seconds, and Kfit, and works closely with Go-Jek, Tokopedia, and Carousell.
Pieter previously launched a startup, worked at an incubator, and held various operational, strategy, and leadership roles at blue chip tech companies such as British Telecom, Nokia, Cisco, and Amazon. Prior to Sequoia, he worked at Amazon Web Services, where he was responsible for Amazon’s business with the leading VC's, Accelerators, and the broader startup ecosystem across Asia. He holds an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital.
Speaker: Sneha Sultania, Country Lead at BizEquity
Sneha is the APAC Market Lead for BizEquity, the world's largest online business valuation platform, having valued over 33.1 million businesses globally with headquarters in Philadelphia in the US and offices in the UK, Singapore and India. She is bringing the company's business valuation & Big Data Solutions to the region.
She was previously working as a Senior Business Development Manager at the alternative investment research arm of Mizuho Bank - Eurekahedge and as an Global Markets Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Sneha pursued a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Finance at Singapore Management University.
